The Dear Man on the Moon Project expands beyond the page, transforming storytelling into a fully immersive experience designed for the Discover Children’s Story Centre.

Dear Man on the Moon is a rhyming picture book about a little girl named Poppy, whose biggest dream is to visit the moon. Every night, she whispers to the stars, hugs her bunny tight, and dreams of meeting the mysterious Man on the Moon.
Her imagination takes flight as she builds her own cardboard rocket, not letting worries or doubt stop her. She writes letters to the Man on the Moon, asking for advice and inspiration, and begins building a rocket fueled by creativity, determination, and one big dream of visiting the moon.
One magical night, her dream comes true. Poppy zooms into space in her rocket, soaring past planets and stars until she finally meets the mysterious Man on the Moon. Together, they sip tea, share stories, and play among the stars. When it’s time to return home, Poppy promises to return. She wakes the next morning with her dream still in her heart, ready to chase the stars again. Though the daylight hides the moon from view, her heart longs to return.
Dear Man on the Moon encourages young readers to believe in themselves and keep following their dreams, no matter how far away they may seem.
